Audit Senior

Job Overview:

As an Audit and Accounts Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with managers and partners to ensure client satisfaction, compliance with regulations, and the successful execution of audit engagements.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and quality standards.

Supervise and guide audit teams, assigning tasks, and reviewing workpapers and audit procedures.

Analyse complex financial transactions, internal controls, and financial statements to identify potential audit risks and issues.

Provide technical guidance to team members and resolve audit-related queries.

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP).

Qualifications:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or ACCA)

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.

Previous experience in a senior audit role within a reputable accounting firm.

Excellent understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting frameworks.

Proficient in using accounting software and audit tools.
