Job Purpose
  • Act as the primary project lead for a varied portfolio of clients and audits
  • Coach and project manage the on-site team to review work, provide support and ensure quality control
  • Work on high-risk areas of audit files
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of reports to support Audit Managers and Senior Managers during client meetings
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Be involved in strategic projects both in the office and wider firm
  • Manage your own time effectively to ensure deadlines are always met

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ audit practice experience
  • Excellent leadership skills to support junior staff
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated with a passion for progression and business development
  • A strong work ethic, time management and project management skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to conduct research autonomously
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members
  • Passionate about supporting a wide variety of clients
