Job Title: Audit Senior/Accountant

ProTalent's client is a highly reputable and well-established accountancy practice located in Cambridge, who are seeking an experienced and professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA) or part qualified Audit Senior/Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

- Perform audit procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients.

- Assume management responsibilities for select clients based on previous audit experience.

- Supervise and provide training to junior staff members.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, accounts, and reports.

- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, particularly corporation tax.

- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 12 months of audit experience within an accountancy practice is essential.

- ACA, ACCA qualification or part qualification is required.

- Strong technical competence in audit procedures and financial reporting.

- Proven ability to manage client relationships and provide exceptional client service.

- Experience in supervising and training junior staff members is advantageous.

- Ambitious and self-motivated with a drive to develop a successful career.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
