Audit Senior Manager

With audit being the largest service line for this national firm the recruitment of an Audit Senior Manager is an important appointment and addition to their Newcastle team.

Providing services across the UK to both large listed PLC’s to OMB’s the range of industry sectors is wide and will provide you with a large array of interesting and diverse businesses to work with.

Joining at Senior Manager, and we hope with progression to Director and beyond, you will oversee the effective management of a substantial portfolio of clients; planning assignments, briefing staff on the clients’ business, ensuring all work carried out is compliant with government legislation and that client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded. Furthermore you will be involved in attending local network events, representing the firm and widening your own relationships with a view to further developing business. You will be expected to identify potential business opportunities, research and prepare proposals, as well as take part in formal presentations to prospective clients.
At Senior Manager we look for qualified ACA/ACCA Accountants who have previous experience at manager level or similar with proven client handling experience and a strong record in producing high quality audits. It would be desirable if applicant have assurance experience from a practice background working specifically with Owner Managed Business clients. We are looking for an individual who is outgoing and confident in a network and business development situation.
