Audit Semi-Senior - About The Role

Joining the audit team, you will work closely with the seniors and managers to complete various audit assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Completing various tasks and gaining varied experience, this position can lead to manager level within a few years. Responsibilities to include:

  • Assist with audit planning
  • Audit of financial statements, testing of all areas, including but not limited to, sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank, assets, liabilities and stock
  • Complete walk-through testing where required
  • Conducting stock takes
  • Liaise with clients to obtain required information
  • Raise queries with clients and resolve issues
  • Assisting junior members of the team

The successful Audit Semi-Senior will have:

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience within Audit at a UK firm of accountants
  • Be actively studying the ACA or ACCA with the view of finishing all of your exams
  • A diligent work-ethic, thriving independently or as part of a larger team
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to form long-lasting client relationships
  • Keen attention to detail is essential
