Audit Manager

Our client, one of the North East’s leading firms of accountancy and business advisors, is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to manage a portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing audit plans and projects.

Your key responsibilities as Audit Manager will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing audit plans/work
  • Planning staffing/resources
  • Carrying out financial due diligence
  • Ensuring delivery to set timelines
  • Coach and develop audit staff

As Audit Manager you will need:

  • Strong experience in an Audit Manager, Audit Assistant Manager or Audit Senior role gained in audit practice
  • A full ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Experience managing audits
  • Experience in transactional support, including FDD
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ideally experience of CaseWare

Benefits & rewards:

  • Salary £52,000 - £53,000 + bonus + pension + benefits
  • 25 days holiday
