Audit Manager
ProTalent is currently seeking a talented and experienced Audit Manager to join a well-established accountancy practice based in King's Lynn.
The client is a reputable firm of accountants with offices in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. With a dedicated team of over 100 professionals, they provide exceptional services to clients across various sectors, and they value professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the firm's audit area and ensure the delivery of an exceptional audit and assurance service
- Oversee the audit process, review work, and provide coaching to junior members of the audit staff
- Prepare management reports and recommendations for clients
- Maintain technical standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage audit engagements, demonstrating a commercial approach and effective use of resources
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous audit experience in a management capacity within an accountancy firm
- Strong IT skills, preferably with experience using IRIS
- People management experience
- Proven experience in client handling
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering excellent service
- Ability to work to deadlines
