REED Practice are currently working with a well-established, reputable growing accountancy firm based in Sutton Coldfield who are recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager / Director to join their growing team. This firm deals with a broad range of clients and have high net worth individuals as part of their complex portfolio. 

This is a full-time office based role and the salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and preparation of audit and accounts preparation assignments
  • Leading a portfolio of audit engagements across a range of sectors, providing a varied and broad experience.
  • Producing and review year-end accounts including consolidation and IFRS
  • Identifying and assisting their firm with capturing the wealth of audit opportunities in the marketplace and building their audit team to increase in size within the next 12-24 months.
  • Responsibility for helping lead the audit department, providing valued input to methodology and processes.
  • Continually improving and driving forward audit quality agenda to ensure it keeps pace with growth and to deliver the objective with efficiency. 
  • Development and supervision of junior members of staff

To be considered for this role you will need to be ACCA/ACA qualified, have an RI certificate and have a minimum of five years post qualification experience working in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
