Key Responsibilities

• High level oversight for audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy
• Develop the audit and assurance service line with new and recurring fee income
• Win assignments in line with budgets and deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address client needs
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Provide strategic guidance to the audit team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to enhance audit methodologies and processes
• Champion business development and cross selling
• Lead and inspire the department
• Effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management

The Right Candidate

• ACCA/ACA qualified
• RI experience and at least 10 years' audit experience
• Proven experience managing audit engagements within a financial service environment
• Strong technical skills, including a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
• Exposure to owner managed businesses
• Strong IT literacy
