Are you currently seeking an opportunity where you can divesify your portfolio across audit, accounts and tax? Where you can take ownership across your clients requirements to become a trusted business advisor? If so, I am currently working with a rapdily growing firm with outstanding succession planning.

Your role will involve:

  • Comprehensive Client Management: Taking charge of your allocated client portfolio, which involves planning, executing work tasks, drafting correspondence, and handling billing. Your responsibilities will span various financial areas, including accounting, tax, and audit.
  • Effective Planning and Resource Allocation: Strategically planning your workload and assigning resources to ensure timely and high-quality completion of tasks. You'll also review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
  • Primary Client Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients in your portfolio and maintaining appropriate communication channels.
  • Engaging with External Parties: Interacting with HMRC, investment managers, legal professionals, and other third parties as required.
  • Ad Hoc Assignments: Assisting with additional assignments related to clients' financial matters.
  • Marketing Support: Contributing to the firm's marketing efforts and participating in networking events with fellow professionals when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong academic background, ideally with first-time exam passes, and at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
  • Exceptional client handling and service skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with HMRC, bankers, and investment managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments, exercise initiative, and exhibit creativity.
  • Experience in coaching and delegating to junior staff, along with strong organizational and reviewing skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities for interacting with clients verbally and in writing.
  • Flexibility in approach and the capacity to manage multiple client affairs simultaneously.
  • Methodical and well-organized work style.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, including advanced use of Excel and Word.
