Audit and Accounts Senior

Are you an audit professional with over 2 and a half years of experience that would like to lead a small team, whilst working in direct support of the firms audit partner?

Our client is an established small to medium sized practice of accountants in London, that are looking for a soon to be or fully ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to join their team as a leading senior who will oversee and have full control audit and accounting assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure of a varied client portfolio of individuals, SME’s and larger OMB’s, including involvement on specialist audits enabling you to become a well-rounded accountant.

Key Responsibilities of this Audit Senior role;

• Have full control of audit assignments from planning to completion, reporting to the audit partner
• Preparing statutory accounts, ready for review by partner.
• Check and supervise the work of more junior staff including providing guidance and assistance.

You

• ACCA or ACA finalist / newly qualified.
• Have prior audit experience with at least 2 to 3 years of practice experience in the UK.
• Good working knowledge of UK Accounting and Auditing standards.
• Experience of using CCH Accounts Production and CCH Audit Automation (Pro-Audit) would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal directly with clients
