Audit & Accounts Senior

Location: Chelmsford

ProTalent is working with a reputable and established accountancy practice in Chelmsford, to recruit a motivated and experienced accountant to join their Audit & Accounts Team. As a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality services to clients, ensuring timely and effective delivery and meeting the firm's aims.

Key Responsibilities:

- Apply your practical experience and technical knowledge within the audit and accounts team

- Prioritise and be accountable for the planning and completion of the work assigned to you

- Review the work of other team members and build on your practical work experience

- Lead and take responsibility for the audit at client premises, supervising the work to meet the planning objectives set

- Follow the firm's systems and processes and apply them effectively

- Supervise and support junior team members on audit and accounts assignments

- Confidently communicate with clients to build relationships and resolve queries as far as possible

- Be commercially focused, understanding the business environment and changes likely to impact clients

Qualifications and Skills:

- ACA/ACCA qualified

- Up-to-date and appropriate knowledge and skills 

- Computer skills appropriate to your role

- Verbal and written communication skills appropriate to your role
