Audit and Accounts Manager

The company, a leading independent accountancy practice experiencing continuous growth, is currently seeking an Audit & Accounts Manager. This presents an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant who desires a professional environment with outstanding progression and development prospects.

Your new role

• Planning and executing audit fieldwork, statutory reporting, and completion, as well as handling general accounting compliance tasks.
• You will prepare financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and occasionally provide training to others.
• Delivering high-quality audits in accordance with International Auditing Standards and providing non-audit services, while effectively coordinating team members.
• Preparing annual accounts with knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102).
• Involvement in forecasting, grant applications, audits, and financial due diligence.
• Achieving departmental and individual performance objectives.
• Managing client administration, including budgets, work in progress (WIP), and timely billing.
• Upholding the highest technical and professional standards.
• Strategically assessing client needs by understanding their business and key risks.
• Offering additional guidance and support to clients.
• Ensuring results delivery and effective management of client expectations. Identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and deliver added value.
• Maintaining monitoring and control processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Candidates should hold full qualification as an Accountant (ACA or ACCA), ideally with experience in Audit and Accounts preparation. The role is open to both newly qualified individuals and Senior Managers.
• Exceptional communication skills, advanced IT proficiency, and excellent project management abilities are essential due to regular client interactions at various levels.
• You must hold unrestricted UK right to work
