Job Purpose
  • Preparation and finalisation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies
  • Preparation of tax computations for the same portfolio
  • Reviewing of VAT returns prepared by the client
  • Leading audits for Limited companies
  • Supervising and supporting junior staff, including review working and knowledge sharing across the team
  • Nurturing client relationships by acting as their main point of contact
  • Proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Championing your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities
  • Working directly with the Manager to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met

The Successful Applicant
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience in practice
  • Experience leading audits from planning to completion
  • Adept at the preparation of statutory accounts
  • A proactive team player who can also work autonomously
  • Excellent work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third parties
  • Good awareness of current affairs and solid commercial acumen
  • A can-do, hands-on attitude
