JobPurpose

  • Provide a full suite of audit and accountancy support to a varied client portfolio.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns.
  • Leading audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Manage workflow and ensure client expectations and deadlines are being met.
  • Support with general accountancy services and business advice.
  • Build trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Promote and strive for customer service excellence.
  • Support the firm’s growth by identifying new service lines for clients.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified, with previous practice experience.
  • Previous experience within a client facing role.
  • Good knowledge across accountancy systems.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
  • Enthusiastic to build on existing skillset, learning from an experienced team.
