About the Role:

As an Attendance Officer Grade 8, you will play a crucial role in promoting regular attendance and punctuality among our students. You will work closely with staff, students, and parents to monitor attendance records, identify patterns of absence, and implement strategies to support improved attendance. Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate attendance records using our school's electronic system.
• Monitor student attendance patterns and follow up on absences promptly.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to address attendance issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote positive attendance behaviors among students.
• Provide support and guidance to students and families regarding attendance matters.
• Generate reports and analyze attendance data to inform school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
