We have the exciting opportunity for an Associate Transport Planner to join the busy and talented Transport Planning team in Winchester as a Team Lead, for a multi-discipline consultancy working collaboratively with other disciplines in house.

You will be working on and managing a number of diverse, exciting, and complex transport planning projects and will take lead on delivery. Supported by the Directors and Transport team you would deliver market leading consultancy advice.

We’re looking for:
  • Experience with Transport Statements, Assessments and Travel Plans
  • Parking Strategies, Sustainable Transport, Section 278 and 106 agreements and guidance such as NPPF
  • Use of the TRICS database
  • Working use of PICADY and ARCADY, as well as an understanding of LINSIG
  • Transport Modelling, and why this is useful
  • Junction design (Roundabout, Signals)
The role

You will be:
  • Working on and Managing complex Transport Planning Projects
  • Taking lead on the development and delivery of the Projects
  • Working on the promotion of development sites from Site Identification/acquisition, plus planning applications, submission, and discharge of planning conditions
  • Working alongside the Transport Directors to deliver top of the range Consultancy Advice, liaising and getting a firm understanding of Clients Requirements and to effectively manage resources.
  • Helping support and mentor more junior staff as well as continuing your Project Management and commercial skills.

They cover a wide range of projects, including Residential, Health, Education and Energy and more.
