Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for an Assistive Technology Business Support Officer to start a new role in Rotherham.  

Assistive Technology (AT) is part of the Rothercare Team, which sits within Adult Care.

The aim of the service is to support vulnerable individuals to maintain a level independence and reduce some of the risks of independent living. This is achieved via the provision of technology, sensors and wearables which will alert Rothercare, Carer's or family members that assistance may be required.

Responsibilities:

Deal with basic customer enquiries e.g. at reception, over the telephone

Receipt and distribute incoming post, process correspondence, and send mail out

Gather information to report back to others

Set up and use standard letters/templates/databases/spreadsheets and documentation

Provide help and assistance to staff in the use of IT packages/systems

Applicant Requirements:

Experience:  Experience in an administrative role, including setting up and maintaining filing and storage systems, arranging events e.g., meetings, and producing agendas and taking minutes.

Qualifications: NQF Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades A*-C, NVQs Level 2, GNVQs Intermediate, City and Guilds Craft or Part 2

Compliance:  Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK

Hours:  37 hours a week
