Job Purpose
  • Supporting a diverse client portfolio, working closely with the Tax Manager.
  • Preparation and delivery of tax advice.
  • Supporting business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services.
  • Managing your own portfolio of personal tax compliance clients.
  • Overseeing junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training.
  • Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management, ensuring deadlines and fee recovery targets are met.
  • Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team.

The Successful Applicant
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified with a minimum of four years’ tax experience within UK practice
  • Qualified by a minimum of eight years’ tax experience within UK practice would also be considered.
  • Technically efficient across taxation
  • Supervisory experience with good people management skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial business acumen
