Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Conduct cost analysis for materials, labour, and equipment
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractor services
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of project costs and budgets
  • Assist in the valuation of work in progress and variation orders
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and project profitability
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Previous experience or internship in quantity surveying or construction industry preferred
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally
