Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Are you an ambitious individual looking to kickstart your career in the field of quantity surveying? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well established Construction and Refurbishment specialist in Bristol. You'll receive mentorship and hands-on experience to develop your skills and contribute to the success of the companies' projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the commercial team in cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
- Learn to prepare bills of quantities, tender documents, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient cost control and financial management.
- Attend site visits and gain practical insights into construction processes.
Requirements:
- A passion for construction and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- A relevant degree (or equivalent) in quantity surveying or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, or industry-specific software).
