Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Reed Construction are delighted to be working for a successful specialist contractor looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

The company are an established and successful business with a wide portfolio of clients that includes some key Framework Contracts working predominantly within National Highways contracts and the local authority sector. The company is looking for an Assistant or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join the team working across a portfolio of clients and in particular Framework Contracts with an NEC bias.

Working alongside the project delivery and commercial teams you will be involved with the contractual and commercial administration of projects across different clients. You will have exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.

Key responsibilities include assisting or taking responsibility for:

•              Budget preparation

•              Management of risk and risk registers

•              Valuations and applications for payment

•              Change control

•              Early Warning and Compensation Event

•              Commercial support to operational delivery

•              CVR and management reports

The role will suit a candidate looking to start a career with a company that offers excellent training and career enhancement opportunities. You will have a degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, and ideally already have some work experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
