Are you looking for an opportunity to become a Quantity Surveyor? If so, this position could be perfect for you! Our client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager and willplay a crucial role in commercial management of individual rail / infrastructure / civil engineering projects across multiple national contracts as part of the greater contract delivery team from pre-contract stage through to completion. Job Description
  • An integral member of the Commercial team, led by the Quantity Surveyor.
  • Building a strong relationship with both internal and client counterparts.
  • Commercial management of projects from pre-contract stage through to completion.
  • Sub-Contract engagement / management including tender enquires, contract award, assessment of monthly payment applications.
  • Assisting in the assessment and allocation of associated costs.
  • Producing both internal and client forecasts.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Ideally you will be HND / Degree qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Infrastructure / Civil Engineering / Rail experience desirable.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics / CEMAR.
  • NEC3 / 4 experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge (Word / Excel etc)
  • Clean driving licence
