Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Permanent

DK Recruitment are looking for an assistant quantity surveyor to join their established client’s team reporting to the contract QS. This dynamic and exciting role is a great starting point for someone looking to grow within an established business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the creation of finance reports at frequencies required by the Account Director.
  • Accurately input information on CAFM databases &/or other reporting systems.
  • Maintain excellent team and Client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Deal with sub-contractors when necessary.
  • Assist in the collation of monthly reports.
  • General administration tasks as required.
  • Attend contract meetings as requested.
  • Undertake other duties as and when required by the Line Manager.
  • Understand and support all contract objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Deputise for Line Manager in their absence.

Technical Skills / Knowledge

  • Minimum GCSE’s grade C or above in Mathematics & English.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel / IT skills & experience.
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferable NVQ or equivalent in Business Administration or Customer Service

Qualifications / Person Specification

  • Very well organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail both verbal & written.
  • Flexible, able to work individually and as part of a team.
