A medium size, national construction consultancy with a relaxing working environment, are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their Milton Keynes office.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support an Associate Director and Senior Quantity Surveyor across a mixture of projects from fast paced retail, to primary and secondary education, valuing up to £30m.

Day to day, the successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will carry out an array of pre and post cost management services and at times, undertake a project management/employers agent role.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor

  • Completed a Quantity Surveying degree, or a RICS accredited degree
  • 15+ months Quantity Surveying, consultancy / cost management work experience
  • Basic pre and/or post contract experience
  • Eager for more responsibility
  • Comfortable working within a sociable team
  • Able to commute to Milton Keynes
