Are you from a construction background, with experience using Excel, looking for an a new opportunity in this newly created role, where you will receive extensive industry training allowing you to progress into a senior role in the future?

Do you want to join a growing fabrication company, where you will work closely with the commercial manager and project managers, supporting the team in a pivotal role, where you will be work on exciting projects for some of the industry's biggest names?

This company is a well renowned firm, known for its expertise in complex engineering projects, within architectural metalwork, supplying to a range of clients within the commercial, residential and utilities sectors. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, whilst successfully delivery highly-technical projects and prioritizing safety, this company is highly regarded within the construction industry and is going through a period of excessive growth. In this role you will be working as part of a small team on a large complex scheme, reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The role:

• Organising tender documents and maintaining accurate tender spreadsheets
• Completing Bills of Quantities
• Attending commercial meetings
• Assisting with the preparation of applications for payment and variation justifications
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers

The person:

• Experience within the construction industry
• Proficient in Excel
