Salary £38,000 - £40,000, plus excellent performance related bonus scheme

Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday - Friday

Location: Trafford Park

My client is a premier development finance and brokerage business, dedicated to supporting societies and driving the success of various projects through effective financial solutions. To enhance our operations, we are in search of a specialised Underwriter in Development Finance and Bridging Finance to become an integral part of our team.

 Role Summary:

The Underwriter will be instrumental in managing and processing up to 30 deals simultaneously, focusing solely on the lending side of operations. This role requires coordination with the team member responsible for client relationships and introducers, ensuring a seamless and efficient transaction process from lending requests to completion and draw down.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Management: Efficiently manage up to 30 deals at a time, ensuring administrative and processing tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Lender Communications: Take charge of sending out lending requests to all relevant lenders and handle all communications regarding lending queries until offers are received.
• Internal Collaboration: Liaise with the BDM to ensure a cohesive process and that all client needs are met from the lending perspective.
• Process Oversight: Once a client has been handed over by the BDM having agreed fees. Oversee the entire process from this point onward, including the progression to the lending terms agreement, completion, and draw down.
• Specialised Expertise: Must possess substantial experience in both Development Finance and Bridging Finance.

 Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience in an Underwriting role within Development Finance and Bridging Finance sectors.
• A sound head for figures and systems, predominantly excel.
• Exceptional administrative and organizational skills to handle multiple deals simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective lender interactions and internal collaboration.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• Ability to problem-solve proactively and manage processes efficiently.
• Team player with the ability to work closely with colleagues responsible for client-facing roles.
