Role: Assistant Planner

Location: Preston

Salary: £25000-£30000

We are proud to be representing an independent Consultancy that specialises in Rural planning and offers a wide range of services to their clients such as Agricultural, Commercial, and Residential. The team have built up 20 years' experience and this forward-thinking consultancy are looking to expand the team further due to the rapid growth of project work, and are looking to bring in a Assistant Planner in Preston.

Essential Criteria for an Assistant Planner:

  • MRTPI qualified or accredited Diploma or Masters. (Relevant Town Planning Degree)
  • Understanding at a practical level in property.
  • 1- 2 years of exposure in the private sector of planning.
  • Strong numerical and report writing skills.

Responsibilities and Duties of an Assistant Planner:

  • Provide planning consultancy advice to clients and colleagues.
  • Attend and report with clients at regular project meetings.
  • Produce reports to support planning appeals and applications.
  • Develop and maintain active communication with your own team and other teams.
  • Becoming a single point of contact for clients.
