Assistant Manager

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working on a fantastic job opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join a market leading company based in New Malden.

You will be reporting to and working with the Branch Manager, being involved in all aspects of running and maintaining the showroom.

They are looking for someone from a retail or customer facing background, ideally with a passion for home improvements.

• Working hours 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday plus 1 or 2 Saturdays per month (working 9:00am-12:30pm on a rotational basis)

Responsibilities:

• Handling customer enquiries in person, over the phone and through emails
• Processing new orders
• Assisting with stock control
• Loading and unloading vehicles (some heavy lifting will be involved)
• Liaising with work colleagues and suppliers about any issues
• Checking the condition and quantities of all delivered goods against delivery notes

Essential Skills:

• Experience with customer facing roles and administration
• Clear communication skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively
• IT literate
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team environment

Desirable:

• Experience working within the construction industry
