Meraki Talent are delighted to be engaged on the role of an Assistant Management Accountant for a market leading and well-respected business based in Glasgow.

The Company

This client is a large-scale global firm, who is growing and building their brand in markets throughout the world.

The Role

As Assistant Management Accountant you will be responsible for working closely within the Finance Team and will provide support to the Management Accountant with providing assistance with month-end duties, preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with operations colleagues to oversee spending across operational delivery, encompassing on-site teams, third-party works, and parts expenditure.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all month-end tasks according to agreed schedules and meeting relevant deadlines.
  • Compiling monthly management accounts for customer head office locations, including ownership of profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Managing finance postings for areas such as Fleet and Mobile devices and liaising with operational teams to identify trends.
  • Coordinating billing activities across the team to ensure timely invoicing.
  • Providing support for ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed within the team.
