The Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for aiding in the financial management and reporting within the Accounting & Finance department. This role is pivotal to the overall success of the Financial Services team.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support the production of financial reports and forecasts.
• Help with budgeting and variance analysis.
• Contribute to the implementation of financial controls.
• Aid in the completion of year-end financial statements.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with the financial services team to achieve department goals.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
