Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant| West London | £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits) | Hybrid | Luxury retailer

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a luxury retail brand on a permanent basis. This role working for a luxury fashion retail business has been created due to the internal promotion. This is a hybrid role based in West London, with expectations of 3 days in office.

Details of the role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be an integral member in the Finance team focusing on assisting with month end duties with the view to take ownership of this as a Management Accountant in a year or two. This is an exciting role as you will be joining at an exciting time as they have had double digit growth in the last year and are looking to implement a couple of projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with month end close and preparing management accounts these duties include:
• Intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations
• Adhoc analysis inline with the wider finance team
• Month end accruals and journal entry
• Support monthly payroll, pensions process & year end process
• Assisting with the development of systems and processes

The successful candidate will have experience in the AP/AR process and has prior experience with month end duties such as balance sheet reconciliation. Experience working for a retail/fashion business is advantageous and strong Excel skills. Softer skills required would include being proactive in nature with a pragmatic approach and the ability to build relationships with Teams internationally.
