Assistant Management Accountant

Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with an amazing business, who, due to continued growth and success company, are looking to appoint an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to work within their finance team. With lucrative, long-term contracts, the company has found themselves going from strength to strength in recent years and, as such, has appointed several new roles to allow for ongoing expansion. Key duties:

• Support in the production of monthly cashflow forecasting
• Ensuring financial data is accurate
• Updating purchase ledger
• Credit control and accurate pay runs
• Maintaining sales ledger
• Cost accounting activities
• Support in the monthly management accounts
• Coordinating valuations and acquisitions
• Audit and assurance activities
• Liaising with external accountants for end of year and tax planning strategies
