Assistant Management Accountant | Central London | £28,000 - £45,000 | Property Company | Hybrid (4 days per week in the office)

This is an opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a fast-paced Property business, in a hybrid role (4 days in office) on a permanent basis. This position will be a crucial hire to the business as this newly created role will play a critical role in the business’ growth and its overarching success.

This role is the number 2 in management accounts, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the production of consolidated monthly management accounts
  • Accountable for monthly accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Post transactions in accounting system and weekly payment runs
  • Assisting with monthly variance analysis
  • Ad hoc analysis, reporting and support when required

The successful candidate will have at least 1-2 years’ experience of management accounting. You must be AAT qualified or have sat at least one exam for ACCA/CIMA. Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and data modelling are desirable. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with both finance and non-finance professionals are the key to success in this role.
