My client, a media/marketing business based near SOUTHWARK STATION is seeking an ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join their growing business.

THE ROLE

Assist Management Accountant and Financial Controller in reporting of our P&L and balance sheet up to Group for month end actuals and monthly forecasts.

• Maintenance of cost subledgers and provide analysis on monthly expenditure vs forecast.
• Monthly posting of journals
• Liaising with Intercompany teams to agree and reconcile balances each month.
• Booking on client retainer fees on the system
• Raising purchase orders and chasing up on closing older PO’s
• Assisting in setting up House Suppliers in our systems
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of budget reports to be sent monthly/upon request to budget holders.
• Job reconciliations for income related projects

THE IDEAL PERSON

• Studying towards either CIMA/ACCA
• 1-2 years’ experience in a junior management accountant/assistant accountant role
• Proficient with MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication
• Proactive, well rounded, team oriented
• Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities?
• Able to deal with various stakeholders?
• Able to prioritise tasks?
