Macildowie are working with an NHS organisation based in the West Midlands who are eager to appoint an Assistant HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for development in which you will provide a quality and professional HR service to the organisation.

As an Assistant HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on a full range of generalist Human Resource issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate relationships with stakeholders through effective communication, active listening, and demonstrating competence and reliability.
  • Analyse and interpret complex information for disciplinary, capability, and grievance processes, to generate concise reports.
  • Analyse HR data for directorates, offering recommendations to enhance outcomes in areas such as absence, turnover, recruitment, and learning and development.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including investigations.
  • Provide support and evidence during disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Contribute to policy development aligned with legislation and HR best practices, and oversee their implementation and monitoring.
  • Provide specialised advice to managers and staff on HR issues in areas such as employee relations, training, and recruitment.
  • Support recruitment processes and organisational change initiatives, working closely with HR teams and line managers to plan and manage HR activities and campaigns.

Requirements & Key Competencies:

  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • Prior experience of operational HR
  • Knowledge and experience working in a unionised environment

Salary & Benefits:

  • £35,000-£43,000 per annum
  • 33 days annual leave (including Public Holidays)
  • Up to 20% pension employee pension contribution
