Assistant Financial Controller (12 month FTC)

The role: A leading commercial property management company based in Central London are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to join their Corporate Finance Team on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Duties:

  • Prepare and review management accounts through to review stage by the Finance Controller.
  • Produce and manage balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Produce cashflow forecasts for Financial Controller sign off.
  • Liaise with external auditors to answer any queries and ensure a smooth year end audit process.
  • Prepare ONS & FCA statutory returns.
  • Oversee and support the accounts payable function working closely with the account payable team.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller and offer insights into process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified/currently study an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • 1-2 years working in a similar role within real estate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
