Assistant Financial Accountant

Our client is a growing global IT business who is seeking to hire an ambitious Assistant Financial Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA/ACCA/CIMA studier who is motivated to develop and progress their career with a forward thinking and fast growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Financial ownership for a number of foreign (non-UK) entities (countries) within the Group.
• Produce monthly management accounts for each entity - prepayments, accruals etc.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for each entity.
• Ownership of Fiscal calendar for foreign entity accounts to include statutory year end and quarterly & annual tax schedules, ensuring filings completed within timescales.
• Manage external audit process with local accountants.
• Assist in production of foreign statutory accounts.
• Partner with local accountants to ensure compliance to foreign entity accounting policies and adherence to external statutory regulations (account filing etc)
• Reconcile statutory accounts to management accounts. Work with the team to manage all elements of the financial close cycle for local entities.

A salary of £40,000-£45,000 is on offer plus 5% bonus, study and benefits.
