Job Title: Assistant Ecologist

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000

Location: Cheshire

We have a position for an Assistant Ecologist to join a specialist Ecological Consultancy in Cheshire. For over 15 years they have provided services across the UK to a range of clients, from developers to private individuals and so this is the ideal environment for you as an Assistant Ecologist to to be able to develop professionally.

The Assistant Ecologist position comes with a salary of £24,000 - £26,000, comprehensive benefits including use of pool cars, hybrid working, career progression and a supportive working environment.

As an Assistant Ecologist, your main duties will be conducting UK habitat and protected species surveys, supporting ecological reports and providing best consultancy advice to clients.

To be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need to have some experience working as an Ecologist, including conducting ecological surveys and report writing. You will need to hold a relevant degree, hold membership of CIEEM and have access to your own vehicle. If you hold, or are working towards protected species licences this is a desirable, as is experience with Biodiversity Net Gain in any capacity.
