A multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is currently seeking an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor to enhance their Birmingham team.

The Assistant Building Surveyor role

As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be instrumental in providing a wide array of professional services.

Your responsibilities will encompass contract administration, dilapidations, party wall matters, defect analysis, project delivery, ensuring technical compliance with planning and building regulations, specification writing, and preparing schedules of work.

This position is an ideal stepping stone for those aiming to progress towards their APC and attain MRICS status.

The Assistant Building Surveyor

• Degree in Building Surveying or a related field, showing a solid foundation in the principles of building surveying.
• A strong desire to progress towards APC and achieve MRICS status, with the consultancy offering full support and training to facilitate this goal.
• Previous experience in a building surveying role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
• A proactive approach to learning and development, with a keen interest in broadening expertise across different sectors.
