£47,000 to £51,250 per annum plus Civil Service Pension

They are looking for an Assistant Board and Company Secretary to join their busy CoSec and Board Support team and ensure their commitment to comply with relevant company law, regulation, and best practice corporate governance principles.

This position will support the Company Secretary and wider Board Support function in providing a governance and company secretarial service to the Board, Board Committees, and various other internal committees. This role will require someone who is self-motivated and organised, someone who can prioritise their workload, take ownership and responsibility of key tasks from start to completion, ensuring they are completed to the high standard expected. The role holder needs to be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders including senior management, the Board, across functions internally and external stakeholders.

They are looking for an individual that has current experience of working within a governance and company secretarial function, including end to-end meeting support and management, and is newly or partly qualified ICSA/CG member of the Chartered Governance Institute. This position required the successful individual to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to be articulate at all levels within the business with the ability to develop collaborative, partnership relationships internally and externally.
