Our client is seeking an Assistant Accounts Payable Manager to join a high performing Finance team. This role is integral to the efficient and accurate operation of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and effective communication with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a valued contributor with a strong background in customer service and team leadership. What you'll do:

As an Assistant Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing an efficient and accurate Accounts Payable function this will include

* Manage creditors of disbursements and/or Overheads
* Ensure timely processing of transactions
* Oversee the reconciliations of supplier statements
* Allocate work across the team and act as the first point of contact
* Collaborate with relevant departments to review and implement new improved processes
* Approve annual leave in line with company policy
* Act as first point of contact for all absences and AWOL
* Ensure all team members are up to date with mandatory training
* Review and manage all payment runs
* Review work of your team to ensure accuracy
