Robert Walters have partnered with a global FMCG organisation based in Surrey, who are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join a highly supportive and fast paced team.

This Assistant Accountant will work closely the Reporting Manager from a reporting and audit perspective, supporting the FP&A and Commercial teams to provide technical analysis to drive sales and positive investment.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support with monthly reporting processes, including risk reporting.
  • Work closely with the commercial and FP&A teams to investigate any financial risks and rectify any issues.
  • Assist with submitting quarterly targets for commercial and sales teams.
  • Support with the monthly Balance sheet review process, ensure that costs are correctly reflecting the final performance metrics.
  • Work with the wider reporting team to compile data for audit sampling.
  • Support with analysis for quarterly and annual audit reviews.
  • Work with commercial and FP&A finance teams to train on reporting and audit compliance processes.

We would love to speak to candidate with the following skillset and experience:

  • ACA , ACCA or CIMA part-qualified would be beneficial.
  • Excellent Excel and ERP systems experience.
  • Proven reporting experience gained within a large corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with commercial finance leaders and wider finance functions.

Salary on offer £40,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience as well as a bonus scheme of circa 10%. This role is being offered on a hybrid basis 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
