This position is perfect for a temporary Assistant Accountant ready to take on responsibility within the busy finance team. A successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail.

Client Details

My client is a well established automotive company based in Central London who are looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant to join their team during a very busy period.

Description

  • Responsible for all stages in the management accountant cycle
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Day to day correspondence with suppliers and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Accounting & Finance department
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Identify and suggest improvements to financial processes

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • 2 years+ of experience in a similar role
  • A thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software ideally Sage
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Offer

  • An hourly rate between £20-£22 per hour depending on experience
