Assistant Accountant

RG consultancy are working with a manufacturer based in Wigan and are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller within the business, the Assistant Accountant will provide support across the finance function in all areas of accounting.

Duties include:

• General ledger reconciliations
• Accruals & pre-payments
• Fixed Assets and depreciation - monthly and annual review.
• Assist with management accounts preparation to strict timescales
• Sales analysis and investigation
• Sales, cost of sales and cash flow forecasting
• Annual budget review
• Month end, mid-month and adhoc reporting

This role is ideal for someone with experience at Assistant Accountant level, looking to expand on their skillset and develop into a full management accountant role or someone who has experience with management accounts and can support the Financial Controller in all aspects of accounts.
