Temporary Assistant Accountant Required in Tonbridge
  • Location: Outskirts of Tonbridge
  • Job Type: Temporary (4-month assignment)

Reed Accountancy & Finance are looking for a  skilled Assistant Accountant to join our client's team on the outskirts of Tonbridge for a four-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our financial operations during this busy time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the preparation of management accounts, including forecasting, cash flow, and budgeting.
  • Prepare final accounts and statements of accounts for review.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Assist managers with budget management and oversight.
  • Contribute to the creation of reports and financial analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Provide financial information and support across various business functions.
  • Assist with balance sheet maintenance and reconciliation.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Available for an immediate start.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions, with a strong grasp of financial systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to financial tasks and the ability to work independently.
