Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Preston. This is Temporary opportunity with the view of going permanent for the right candidate. They are seeking an Assistant Accountant who is ready to take on a challenging role in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will manage financial tasks and assist the accounting department in Preston.

Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Compiling and reviewing financial information for audit
  • Assisting in budget preparation
  • Supporting monthly payroll and keeping organised records
  • Reporting on budget and variance analyses
  • Maintaining compliance with all company policies and regulations

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency with accounting software and excellent computer skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail

Job Offer

You will be entitled to:

  • An estimated salary range of £27,000 to £33,000 monthly
