Assistant Accountant

Grafton Banks are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our clients team based in Sevenoaks. The Assistant Accountant will report to the Finance Manager but will also work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the finance team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Management Accounting - Assisting with month-end preparation.
• Preparing detailed balance sheet reconciliation's. 
• Preparing journals and assisting with invoicing. 
• Assisting with statutory accounts and audit queries. 
• Assisting with VAT and Corporate Tax reporting.
• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks.

Required skills and experience:

• At least 2 years' experience in an all-round finance related role. 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

This role will likely suit an active studier who currently progressing through their ACCA, ACA or CIMA studies. This is a hybrid working opportunity providing 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
