Assistant Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, duties will include:

• Calculate quarterly intercompany recharges and monthly intercompany accruals
• Reconcile intercompany loans between the Group Treasury System and SAP
• Prepare management accounts for two companies
• Monthly reporting of results for two companies to the Group
• Process monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with external parties in a timely manner
• Complete budget and forecast templates
• Process general ledger accounting journals in SAP and the Group Treasury System
• Complete national statistics returns
• Ensure internal and external customer queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs

Person Specification:

• Willingness to studying towards ACCA/CIMA
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Confident communicator both verbally and written
• A comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and the interaction of ledgers
