Are you a skilled Assistant Accountant looking for your next opportunity? We have an exciting position available with our client based West bromwich. They are a leading organisation in their industry and are looking to expand their Finance team.

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working closely with the wider team. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for bank reconciliations, posting bank payments, and assisting with the preparation of VAT returns. In addition, you will liaise with other departments to resolve customer queries and assist with the year-end audit information.

To excel in this role, you will need strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, as well as experience with Sage 50. Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial. If you have previous experience as an accounts assistant, exposure to management account preparation, and are studying or have completed AAT Level 3, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £27,000 - £29,000, along with a generous annual leave allowance, employee discount scheme, employee assistance scheme, and enrollment in the NEST pension scheme. Study support is also available for the right candidate.
